It is a protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor. It will cause a large accumulation of protoporphyrin of sensitive crops in light and oxygen to enhance the lipid peroxidation of cell membranes, thus leading to the irreversible damage of cell membrane structure and cell function of sensitive weeds.
It is used before emergence for controlling and killing off most of annual broadleaf weeds and some of annual gramineous weeds in soybeans, peanuts, orchards, grapes and other crops fields. The dose in the soybean and peanut field is 70-100g/hm2, and the dose in the orchard is 70-425g/hm2.
